Hey Lions!
This new world of remote learning is going to be an interesting transition for all of us. As your PE teacher I want you to know that I'm here for you for all of your Physical Education needs as well as any nutrition questions you may have to stay healthy as we hunker down at home. This website will be updated throughout each week with new and exciting information for you to be an Active, Successful student on this journey we are taking together. IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER: 1) Limit screen time- being at home gives you many opportunities to become sedentary and sit around on your phones, tablets, video games etc. Do your best to set limits and get up to move around multiple times throughout the day 2)Do your best to eat healthy- When we have down time or sit too much, our brains get bored and sometimes turn to unhealthy snacking as a way to pass the time. This can hurt your body and make it more difficult to reach those fitness goals we set at the beginning of the year. 3) BE ACTIVE!!!- Use this website and the link your teacher sent you to find new and exciting ways to be active over the next 6-8 weeks (and beyond too!) Your body and brain will thank you for taking care of them while we explore new territories of remote learning! I miss seeing you all in the gym and look forward to live lessons in the future!
